After an extensive review performed from August to December 2021 Technip Energies has received the approval of its Basic Design for its INO12TM floating offshore wind concept from classification society DNV.

Willy Gauttier, Vice President of the Floating Offshore Wind Business Unit at Technip Energies, commented: "This approval confirms once again that the floater concept - semi-submersible 3 columns - is well adapted to the floating offshore wind commercial market and we will continue to refine this solution for higher capacity turbines of 15MW and beyond.

"We are convinced that this technology together with cost effective industrialization strategies and advanced O&M solutions will position Technip Energies as the leader in the floating offshore wind market.”
